At a height of over 2,000ft with majestic views over the fjords, Aurland Lookout was designed by Todd Saunders and Tommie Wilhelmsen. A massive wooden bridge, it curves seamlessly downward to perpendicularly meet the mountainside.

    Enclosed viewing platform at The Sphinx Observatory, Switzerland - An astronomical observatory, The Sphinx observatory sits atop Jungfraujoch in Switzerland at a height of 11,716ft. A train ride brings you to the railway station at the base and after an elevator ride through the tunnelled-out inside of the mountain, you will find yourself inside the observatory.

    The Grand Canyon Skywalk. Photo: John Wood - The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a horseshoe-shaped cantilevered bridge with a glass base that juts out over the canyon in the Grand Canyon West area. Located at a height of 4,770ft, the views are spellbinding and the canyon’s famous blazing sunrises and sunsets take on an entirely different character here. Note that personal belongings such as cameras are not permitted on to the Skywalk.
